Down a long, narrow alley, a lovely older home has been converted into a cafe with some antiques for sale. A peaceful hideaway! Popular for its coffee, I enjoyed hot milk flavored with rum and a homemade donut - delicious!

A quiet place, there is the good atmosphere. You can feel the time is stop here. The owner is a female elder. I really hope I can speak Japanese well to this kind of good store owner

I walked into Nobara Coffee without really knowing exactly what it would be like, and I was really blown away by the unique cozy, antique ambience of the place. The combination of the Western style decor and the Japanese structure of the house was just so incredible, it felt like I walked into a time slip. The woman working there was incredibly warm and kind as well, and I really enjoyed the hot tea. It was perfect for quietly reading a book.

A vintage style cafe located between two houses (you might miss it so look for the little sign on the chair) . It has drinks and some sweets (cake, donut, toast) and is very affordable and tasty. Suited for people who want to dine alone since loud talking is discouraged (you can go with friends but don't chat loudly)
